Finances are a pain in the arse at the best of times. But when you’ve got cancer, it’s one of the most important things you need to get things in order.

What is your financial situation? Will your employer cover your pay if / when you need time off for treatment? Are you able to claim any benefits or access financial support?

Nobody should struggle to have a roof over their head or put food on the table when they’re at their most vulnerable.

Check your life insurance. You have nothing to lose by submitting a claim and you could have things like your mortgage cleared if you’re successful.

Check your health insurance. Can you claim back on any scans, appointments or treatments? Ask the questions. It’ll be worth it. Though paying in might seem like a waste of money at the time, that sweet payout later on could have the ability to improve your quality of.
