Excuse me whilst I lose my s*it for a moment but my bestest burger joint in the whole of the world that is LDN has only gone and created a special for little old me!
I’ve been munching on Patty&Bun‘s carnivorous creations since their first ever pop-up at HATCH in 2012 and have sampled all of their lip-smacking stock from the OG that is the Ari Gold to man like Smokey Robinson, even Dig It the veggie option has gotten the odd look in. But blimey their new ‘Swine Of The Times’ takes the bacon. Literally.
Beautifully glazed and lusciously light a brioche bun plays the ideal host to it’s impressive interior. A cheese-topped aged Aberdeen Angus patty drips it’s flavoursome juices over rashers of bacon slathered with smoked bacon mayo and smoked bacon jam. Bacon for days fam! Defo the best thing I’ve had in and around my gob in a long time.
But it’s not just the filthy flavour that makes this masterpiece a must have. During the whole of October – aka Breast Cancer Awareness Month – £1 of every ‘Swine Of The Times’ Special ordered will be donated to GIRLvsCANCER.
As with all dollar drummed up from GIRLvsCANCER collaborations the final amount donated with be divided equally between GIRLvsCANCER’s partner charities. Awesome innit!
So get down to this meat lovers Mecca pronto and buy buns to help kick cancer in the balls.
Big up Patty&Bun bossman Joe Grossman and his crew for having my back and supporting GIRLvsCANCER in such a wicked way.
The ‘Swine Of The Times’ Special is available at all Patty&Bun locations:
